Sentinel USB key problem with Dell latitude 620: when I put the ISIScan USB key straight into the computer, it only works when the computer is in its docking station. When I remove the computer from the docking station, USB and parallel keys are not recognized.
CAUSE: Certain USB chipsets are very particular about how the Rainbow drivers are loaded. The drivers must be installed with the computer out of the docking station.
VERSION AFFECTED: N/A
1) Uninstall the Sentinel System Driver in Control panel / Add & remove programs
2) undock the computer and restart it.
3) Reinstall the driver using the file SSD5411-32bit.exe (can be found in the ISIscan folder)
4) plug in the key and start ISIScan.
